Frequently Asked Questions

It is natural to have questions about what to expect with counseling/therapy. Below are answers to some frequently asked questions.

What should I expect when I call/send an email for the first time?

When you call/email, you will leave a message on a confidential voicemail/email address with your name, contact information and best time to call. You can expect to receive a call back within one business day. The first call will be about 15 minutes and is at no charge to you. You will be asked some basic questions around what you are struggling with and what type of help you are looking to receive. During this call, we will discuss how Faith Moves Mountains Counseling and Therapy PLLC might be able to assist you and answer any questions you may have. If we mutually feel it will be a good fit, I will gather some basic information from you like name, birthdate and insurance information (if you are choosing to use insurance), and we will set the first appointment date and time. If during this call, we feel we are not a good fit for working with each other, I will get back to you with contacts for other providers that might be able to best meet your needs/goals.

Where do sessions take place?

In the event internet has an unstable connection, phone sessions are available.
